Meet the Owner

I’ve been passionate about tinkering, electronics, and computers since I was young. In 2016, I discovered 3D printing, and it quickly became more than just a hobby—it became my mission.

With over a decade of IT experience in support, project management, and systems administration, along with earning my Eagle Scout rank in 2007, I founded TH3D Studio to make 3D printing easier and more accessible. My goal is to help makers spend less time troubleshooting and more time printing.

Happy Printing!

Things that are Important to Us

Our Dedicated, US Based Team

TH3D is based out of Hobart, IN. All of our team members are in the US, we do not outsource any of our positions to people outside the US.

We run a hybrid of onsite and remote employees to maximize efficiency and coverage of our customers that are all over the world. We have a dedicated team of people who only handle customer service and technical support requests.

Honest Reviews

Unlike other people in the 3D printing space who rely on making sales through affiliate programs, we do not. We will always be honest when reviewing a 3D printer even if there are issues.

Many channels (especially ones that work with Bambu Labs) are bound by agreements where they cannot be honest with you on negative aspects of products.

Focus on Quality and Service

Our focus is to get our customers the best products at fair prices. We’re all makers here, and we know how frustrating getting cheap parts from China is and not getting what you wanted the first time.

Everything we carry are parts and products that we use on our in-house machines to make our lives easier. There is enough to worry about in this hobby/industry so let us help simplify your 3D printing life by ensuring you get quality parts and excellent support.

When we design products, we take the time to run them through stress testing and analysis to make sure they work and last. Unlike many vendors in the 3D printing market, we do not use our customers to test our products, we sell products that work and are free of major design flaws.

Ordered this screen to replace a Zonestar rotary. It works great the only issue I had is with the cable headers. I had to pull them off and rotate the slots downward "wrong orientation" to work on the bigtreetech skr 1.3.

Had problems with part cooling on my stock CR-10 set-up. Added this fan with a Petsfang system and the improvements have been amazing.

A friend had done the Pi version of this and I almost went that route. But for the money and the ease of finding instructions, I went this route. Glad I did. Straight forward with provided instructions and videos available on the process. Opened up the true potential for Ender 3 upgrades as well as basic safety features. DO IT!

Kit was great and very easy to follow along. Did this on an Ender pro 3 so had to access from the bottom but no big deal. Some steps took a little longer then the video said to expect so be patient. Just getting into 3D printing and am liking what these folks are doing. Nice to know I now have thermo protection, wife would really be pissed if I burned down the house. Thanks TH3D!

I've never done any type of 3D printer modifications. This worked great. I followed the instructions here along with YouTube videos for the Ender 3. Fiddled for a while with a Mac, and then eventually got it working from my Linux system. I think if I would have been on Windows it would have been faster but that's ok. I think the TH3D products have worked as advertised. Now onto adding the EZABL system!

Easy install on a Ender-3. I replaced all stock wires and xt60 connectors with beefier higher quality parts. Noted a huge difference in warmup time.
Tried printing ABS with the stock mosfets and layer separation was a huge problem, as I could only eek 90c on the bed temperature. Now it cranks to 120c no problem, fast and stable and ABS prints are much improved.

Works great so far, not too hard to install. Bed heats up faster on my CR10. I'm thinking of buying a second for the hotend.

Ender 2 note: make sure to purchase 4 x M3x16 bolts (so 4mm longer than stock) as you cannot use the stock bolts with the TH3D delivered fan. The stock Ender 2 fan mounting holes are deeper at one side to allow the stock bolts to slide in, the new Sunon fan does not have these.
