This is JUST for a custom cut cast acrylic replacement door panel for this printer and magnetically-receptive strips. NOTHING ELSE IS INCLUDED. Your existing hinges and handle will be re-used for the new door panel.
The pictures are just to show our actual Tough Panel on the printer this product page is for. These doors are made of acrylic, NOT glass, they will be less rigid than a glass door – this is normal. Even if a small gap is present at the top and bottom this does NOT affect printing high temp materials like ABS/ASA/Nylon.
WARNINGS – READ THIS – WARRANTY WILL BE VOID IF YOU DO ANY OF THESE THINGS BELOW
- Do NOT use loctite or any thread lockers near these panels – it will damage the door.
- Do NOT use alcohol and/or acetone based cleaners to clean. Use Windex, Plexus, or Water to clean.

Have a small farm of Bambu machines. Bought a couple of these to try. Installed one today. While it does improve visibility into the machine, the door flexes a lot. There is a lot of friction in the hinges, so when closing the plastic door it remains bowed out when closed. You have to push in near the hinges to get it to flatten out. The magnet pads are super thin and flimsy. They don’t have near the hold of the Bambu door. They are also wider, and without the black border, they just look cheap on an otherwise nice looking machine.
If you just want better visibility, you get that. I think I’m going to go back to the tinted glass. It’s just a better door.
